TIMBER — After twenty-seven years, the world is finally communicating again.

The gradual restoration of wireless communications on a global scale has made possible what for a long time seemed unattainable: the creation of a network capable of reconnecting cities, Gardens and communities separated by enormous distances.

It is from this new reality that Timber Maniacs is born.

A newspaper accessible through the network, created to gather news, stories, curiosities and firsthand accounts from every corner of the world.

For years, the extremely powerful interference disrupting radio waves made long-distance wireless communication virtually impossible. Information travelled slowly, and entire regions could remain isolated from what was happening throughout the rest of the world.

Today, something has changed.

With the return of wireless transmissions, distances are suddenly becoming smaller. Information from Timber, Balamb, Dollet, Galbadia and the most remote regions can now be shared at a speed that would have been unimaginable until recently.

Timber Maniacs was created to make the most of this opportunity.

Our goal is simple: to tell the story of the world as it becomes connected again.

Travel, cities, people, technology, Gardens, mysteries, culture and unusual events will all find a place within these pages. Not only the major stories, but also those smaller tales that often escape the headlines and help tell the story of the world we live in.

After twenty-seven years of silence across the airwaves, a new era of communication has just begun.

And we intend to tell its story.

Welcome to Timber Maniacs.
