Balamb Garden —
One day late, but with just as much enthusiasm, the Timber Maniacs editorial staff would like to wish Squall Leonhart a very happy birthday.
Yesterday, August 23, while our editorial office was closed, Squall celebrated his birthday. Now that our offices have reopened, we certainly couldn't let the occasion pass without dedicating a special feature to one of the SeeD who played such an important role in recent history.
From the struggle to liberate Timber to the battle that decided the fate of the world, Squall played a crucial role. During the resistance against Galbadia's occupation, he and his companions aided the Timber Owls, Timber's resistance movement, contributing to the fight for our city's freedom.
But it was during the crisis surrounding the Sorceress of the future that his name truly became part of history. Leading his companions, Squall confronted Ultimecia, ultimately reaching the final battle and playing a decisive role in her defeat.
A SeeD, a leader, and for many, a symbol of a generation that fought to prevent the fate of the world from being decided by others.
So, even if we're a day late, from everyone here at the editorial office:
Happy Birthday, Squall!
