Battle of the Gardens: Balamb Defeats Galbadian Forces

Balamb Garden and Galbadia Garden have fought a direct battle, bringing two of the world's largest mobile Garden installations into a violent collision.

Galbadia Garden, commanded by Seifer Almasy under Sorceress Edea's influence, engaged Balamb Garden with soldiers and airborne assault units. Fighting spread across both structures as Balamb's SeeD forces attempted to board the enemy Garden.

The battle culminated inside Galbadia Garden, where Seifer and Edea were confronted directly. Both were defeated by Squall Leonhart's SeeD group.

The outcome ends Edea's immediate command over Galbadia's campaign against Garden. In the aftermath, however, it became clear to those involved that the sorceress herself had been acting under the control of another power.

The battle may have ended the war between the two Gardens, but it has also revealed that the conflict reaches far beyond the political struggle seen until now.
