Sorceress Adel Defeated Inside Lunatic Pandora

Sorceress Adel has been defeated inside the Lunatic Pandora after being freed from the orbital prison that had contained her since the last Sorceress War.

SeeD forces entered the structure after confronting Seifer Almasy and reached Adel as events surrounding the sorceress and Rinoa Heartilly converged inside the facility.

The battle ended with Adel's defeat, closing a threat that had remained suspended above the planet for years. The victory, however, did not end the wider crisis.

Ultimecia, the sorceress from the future whose influence had previously acted through Edea, immediately moved to continue her plan through Rinoa. The objective was no longer control of a nation or a Garden, but the compression of time itself.

Adel's return has therefore proved brief. The danger that followed her defeat may be greater than anything the world has faced during the conflict so far.
