Balamb Garden Escapes Missile Attack After Ancient System Activated

Balamb Garden escaped a Galbadian missile attack after an ancient system beneath the academy transformed the entire structure into a mobile installation.

With missiles already launched toward the island, personnel inside the Garden activated mechanisms hidden deep below the building. The structure lifted from its original foundations and moved away from the impact zone before the attack could destroy it.

The discovery reveals that Balamb Garden was built around technology whose full capabilities were not part of ordinary academy life. The Garden is now capable of traveling across the sea, although controlling the enormous structure initially proved difficult.

The escape prevented Galbadia from repeating the destruction inflicted on Trabia Garden and preserved one of SeeD's principal bases.

Balamb Garden has survived the missile offensive, but it is no longer simply an academy on the coast. It has become a moving participant in the war.
