Timber —

In Timber, I wanted nothing more complicated than a place to spend the night.

The hotel, however, was full of Galbadian soldiers.

During the occupation, rooms normally intended for travelers were being used to house troops. It might sound like a minor detail, but it shows just how deeply the Galbadian presence had entered everyday life in Timber.

When a city is occupied, it is not only politics that changes.

Sometimes even finding a bed for the night becomes part of the occupation.
